Preliminary Production: Building your brand

Brands are extremely recognisable and, with just a quick glance at the image below, it only takes a millisecond to be able to identify the companies below.

However, whilst the logo for the brand may look simple, teams of people in the advertising industry spend weeks and months and spend thousands of pounds creating them.

You will only have a very short period of time in comparison.

Big brands like Nike no longer need any information to accompany their logo as it has become a household name. (See below)

Whereas, newer companies need to establish themselves and will often feature their brandname in their logo. If you do not recognise the company below, can you guess what the company produces?

TASK: As your brief has asked you to come up with an ethical fashion marketing campaign, you now need to create your own brand to establish your product.
You will need to:

- Come up with a brand name

- Design a logo for your brand (sketch it out)

- Transfer your idea to PhotoShop and save it, ready to be placed onto your adverts.
