- Using DTP(Publisher) and an image manipulation programme, produce the first draft posters.
Example
This is an example of a contact sheet |
- Ensure all of your pre-production work has been posted to your blog:
- Pitch - including your branding logo, slogan and font choices - how are you including the conventions of fashion and the Fair Trade ethos
- Statement of Intent - linking your ideas to the media framework (Language, Audience, Representation and Industries) - you only need to write around 400 words for this.
- Mock up of your two poster products - drawn by hand and an image posted to your blog.
- Take original photos as part of planned photo shoot (you should have booked the studio with who you have decided to team up with for this task or planned your photo shoot at an alternative location). This must be completed this week to allow you to create your posters ahead of the deadline.
- Collate the original (minimum 24) images on a contact sheet (all of your images presented as small images on one page) and label the best shots that you have chosen to use
- Post this labelled contact sheet to your blog and explain your reasons for your choices
- Using DTP (Publisher) and an image manipulation programme, product the first draft posters. If you are yet to take any images, you will have to make them using place-holder found images.
- Look at another student's blog and leave some feedback (constructive peer assessment with WWW and EBI) as a comment.
Deadline for Production work is 3pm Friday 2nd February. Ensure all your work is posted to your blog by this time.
