Production Week
Below you will find your groups that you have been allocated for your moving image advert production.
In each group you must define roles and ensure everyone is respected and treated equally.
The roles are as follows: Director / Producer / Camera-Operator / Sound / Models

Your production brief is to re-create the Close the Loop advert of at least 30 seconds, you may include the transport sequence if you wish but you will need to recreate it shot-for-shot following. Once you are in your groups watch the video and begin to write down what you will need to do and organise for the shoots.
TASK ONE: Assign Group Roles
The roles that need to be filled are as follows:
- Director (Person responsible for communicating meaning)
- Producer (Person responsible for organising the shoot and ensuring efficiency)
- Camera Operator (Person responsible for framing/image quality/lighting)
- Sound Recordist (Usually carries a microphone but is responsible for the quality of sound; ensures there is no background noise, music, non-diagetic sound etc.)
- Models (These may be group members or they can be cast externally)
TASK TWO: Production Planning
These shoots will require more planning than the poster task. You will need to work together effectively to ensure the product is the best it can be.
In today's lesson you will need to have organised the following
- Production Schedule (Dates / Locations / Individual responsibilities.)
- Props and Costumes will need to be sourced. (Don't spend money but think carefully about costume this time)
- Equipment will need to be booked if using other equipment other than your phone camera.
