Today your task is to research your favourite music artists (at least three) and produce an analysis of their home pages. Below is an example of what is required.
Little Mix
Use of Images:
On Little Mix's homepage they have used a large, full page photograph of the four members of the band. The image is tinted pink to perhaps connote femininity as their main fanbase is female teenagers. The image appears to give the impression it is a candid photograph as it is taken at eye level and there is direct eye contact from one of the girls implying the presence of a photographer. The girls appear to all have an individual style that creates various effects that perhaps relate to certain sections of their fanbase. The positioning of the group, falling onto oneanother, suggests that the group are close and appear to be "fun" as it conveyed through the playful facial expressions. Another image of the band appears on the News section which directly relates to the album cover, as they appear to have won a Brit Award (somehow).
