Production and Technology The Telegraph: The Making of Disney's most troubled film. The Jungle Book (hereafter JB) was released in 1967 by Walt Disney Productions . It was created at the Walt Disney Studios in California. Signs consist of a signifier (a word, an image, a sound, and so on) and its meaning - the signified.
